AI Developer Intern (m/w/d)

YOUR TASKS

  • You support the integration of (generative) AI technologies into existing application software or collaborate with the team to develop new, innovative solutions with AI components
  • You assist in the analysis and preparation of data specifically for (generative) AI use cases
  • You contribute to the evaluation and optimization of software systems with AI components, particularly using frameworks such as LangChain, as well as APIs such as OpenAI or Ollama
  • You support cloud-native development projects with a focus on AI-driven software solutions
  • You assist in the integration and use of AI-ready database systems (e.g., relational, vector, or graph databases) for AI applications
  • You research new technologies and methods in the field of (generative) AI (e.g., Model Context Protocol, agent technologies, and modern AI integration frameworks)

YOUR PROFIL

  • You are enrolled in a degree program with AI-related coursework and have a solid foundational understanding of artificial intelligence
  • You have practical knowledge of Python and at least one additional modern programming language such as JavaScript (e.g., Node.js), TypeScript, Go, or Java
  • You are passionate about customer-centric application development, AI, and innovative technologies.
  • You are a team player, communicative, and work independently in a structured manner
  • You have gained initial experience in cloud-native development (e.g., with Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub)
  • You have basic knowledge of API design and full-stack software development
  • You enjoy visually presenting and communicating developed concepts and results
  • You are looking to gain valuable hands-on experience over a period of 3 to 6 months and actively contribute to projects
  • You have very good German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both languages)
