Data Engineer Working Student (m/w/d)

YOUR TASKS

  • You support the development of databases and data integration processes
  • You contribute to the design and implementation of data models and data pipelines for modern data lakes, data warehouses, or lakehouses
  • You assist in documenting and structuring data platforms and related processes
  • You participate in the development of interactive dashboards and reports, for example in the area of performance metrics and ESG
  • You support the application of data analytics methods and tools within project contexts
  • You assist users in the utilization and maintenance of data platforms and analytics solutions

YOUR PROFIL

  • You are currently enrolled as a student in an IT-related field, such as (Business) Informatics, Software Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a related discipline
  • You have solid knowledge of the programming languages Python and SQL
  • You have experience in data visualization and presentation using Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Initial experience with Databricks is considered an advantage
  • You have a basic understanding of data modeling methods and data integration processes (ETL / ELT)
  • You work independently and in a structured manner and demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills
  • You possess excellent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both languages)
  • You are able to work on-site at least 50% of the time in our office in Cologne or Munich
